Type To Narrow The Folder List In Focus
Folder list filtering is separate from global search. Focus a bookmark or folder in a list, then type the beginning of an item name. WebCull keeps only matching rows visible in that folder list.
Matching
Matching ignores letter case and starts at the beginning of each visible item name. It does not search for text in the middle of a name.
Scope
Only the folder list in focus is filtered. Other open folders and the account-wide search results do not change.
Up and Down
Use the ↑or↓ keys to move through the matching rows without clearing the filter.
Clearing the filter
Clear One Character Or Restore The Full List
Esc
Clears the whole filter immediately and restores every row. When filter text is present, this first press clears the filter instead of closing the folder.
Backspace
Removes the last filter character. Removing the final character restores the full list.
Other list commands
Most non-typing list commands clear the filter as the command continues. For example, Enter, Left Arrow, and Right Arrow restore the full list. Up Arrow and Down Arrow are the exceptions.
Closing the folder
Closing the filtered folder removes that list and its filter. The folder is unfiltered when it is opened again.
Clicking or changing focus
Clicking a visible item or moving focus elsewhere does not clear the filter by itself.
