List filtering and selection

Filter open folder lists and select multiple items for bulk operations.

Filter the currently open folder list

Folder list filtering is separate from global search. It narrows the visible rows inside the list you are already working in, without changing the saved bookmark data or the global search state.

Scope
The filter applies to the active folder list, not every folder in the account.
Keyboard
Arrow navigation continues to move through the filtered list. Clearing the filter restores the unfiltered rows.
Data
Filtering does not edit tags, titles, folders, or bookmark URLs.

Select multiple items for bulk actions

Multi-select marks items in the current list so the multi-select widget can act on them together. Use it when several bookmarks or folders need the same operation.

Meta select
Adds or removes one item from the selected set without replacing the full selection.
Shift select
Uses the previous selection point and the current item to select a continuous range.
Selection state
Selected rows are a UI state. They are not saved as bookmark metadata.

Bulk actions still obey normal permissions and safeguards

Multi-select does not bypass delete, move, public URL write access, or kiosk editing restrictions. If a public URL is in read-only mode for the viewer, selecting items does not grant write capability.

Delete confirmation

The private bookmark manager can require text confirmation before deleting items with multi-select. This safeguard is configured in private settings.
