Pin folders for quick entry
Pins are about entering WebCull through an important folder when no folder hash is being opened.
- Pin folders you open often.
- Use a pinned folder as your default starting point inside WebCull.
- If the URL contains a folder hash, that hash opens instead of the pinned folder.
Save hash-based folder links
Hashes make a specific WebCull folder saveable as a link.
- Save a folder hash as a normal browser bookmark.
- Save a folder hash inside WebCull as a bookmark that opens that folder directly.
- Use hashes when a deep folder should be reachable from outside the current WebCull navigation path.
Understand the override behavior
When WebCull opens, folder hashes are checked before the pinned folder.
- If a saved link includes a folder hash, WebCull opens the hashed folder directly.
- If there is no folder hash, WebCull can open the pinned folder.
- This lets pins act as a default while hashes act as exact saved destinations.
